1979 Vindex. Flush deck sedan. Built by Grant Mitchell boat builders. Constructed of double diagonal treated kauri sheathed in fibreglass. Powered by a single GM6-71 275HP
Detroit diesel. With a cruising speed of 16 knots and a Maximum of 22 knots. Burning 15 litres an hour at 1800 rpm. Fuel capacity of 600 litres, water capacity of 400 litres in stain-less tanks. Hydraulic steering, 6 berths (2x double & 2x single), fridge, freezer, electric
toilet with holding tank, pressurized hot & cold water. Freedom is a very well maintained and proudly kept vessel with classic lines. Built light but proven to be a very good and safe sea boat.
